Rainy Day Activities Program for children

It can be hard to find ideas to entertain the kids when the weather is cold, wet and miserable. In a sense, this limits your possibilities, since you can not spend a lot of time outdoors, however, do not worry because there is a lot that can be done on the inside too.

Fun Kitchen

Take the opportunity to introduce your children to the kitchen. Choose some simple recipes that you know they will like. Some cakes are easy to make and are bound to be a success. Sauces for pasta and pizza are also great to do with the younger members of the family.

If the children are young, you will obviously need to take care not to handle all sharp knives or hot pipes and liquid food. So if making pizzas, for example, put them to work tearing mozzarella cheese with their hands or wash vegetables before chopping.

Introducing children to the kitchen at a young age is important because it increases the likelihood of the sample tradition later in life, and teaches them to be independent.

Playwriting and Production

Dramaturgy and production of a game are a great way to relax at the weekend. Try to come up with an interesting story that kids will enjoy the show. If the struggle for inspiration, base your game on a book or TV show.

Let the kids assemble a scene and decorate with upholstery and other household items. If possible, let them plunder your closet for costumes too. Make up can be very exciting for children if you are willing to let them use some or apply one yourself.

Tell the children to practice on their own and tell you when they are ready to perform. Perhaps you could invite the neighbors to join you in public?

Math and Science Activities

It's spend productive time when inside is worth. Avoid turning on the TV and let your children watch the screen for hours. Why not use the time to improve your skills and knowledge children in math and science?

There are many scientific experiments and mathematical puzzles that require no advance preparation, but are still very educational. Many of them can be achieved with the help of some commonly found household items such as tennis balls, string, paper and pens and dice.
